Winter Storm

A winter storm from eastern Texas eastward across the interior section of southeastern states and across much of the eastern seaboard including the Appalachians began on February 11. Winter storm watches are in effect for portions of northern New England as well as along the western slopes of Northern and Central Appalachians. Freezing rain is spreading into the Carolinas with significant snow accumulations expected in the interior Mid-Atlantic states.
