Analysis & Outreach
Part of DOE's mission is to ensure its stakeholders are active in defining, and re-defining, what it does. To that effect, it works closely with state and local governments-hosting conferences, preparing briefs, analyzing state or local plans, and developing tools to ensure a process that is both fluid and effective. DOE/NASEO/NCSL Energy Outlook Conferences
Twice a year, DOE, the National Association of State Energy Officials, and/or the National Conference of State Legislatures host an energy conference.
